The resurrection of Jesus is at the heart of Christianity. Apologists defend it vigorously while polemicist attack it vigorously. Yet it is possible to stand back from the impassioned debates and contemplate the matter from other points of view. This presentation will consider what history and archaeology might offer and further ask whether there are any comparable claims or experiences that might shed light on what took place at the birth of Christianity.
